Players wanted

Sprotbrough and Cusworth Crusaders JFC are pleased to announce they are starting a Girls team for the forthcoming season (2009/10). The club has had many good female players in their mixed teams throughout the years and now it hopes this venture will encourage more girls to participate in sport within the Doncaster, Sprotbrough and Cusworth areas.

Two teams have been registered with the Sheffield Girls League and the club wants new players, regardless of ability or experience) to join the squads for next season.

Girls are wanted in school years 4 & 5 for the Under 10s and years 5 & 6 for the Under 12s. Training sessions are now taking place on Saturday mornings at Copley School, Sprotbrough (except June 27th due to school fair).

If you are interested (or know someone who is), contact Wayne Shaw on 07919 217544, Paul Durkin on 07887 512127 or, leave a message through the website.

No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
