The 2009/2010 season sees the start of a new era in the development of Sprotbrough and Cusworth Crusaders JFC.
As a sign of our continued development, the club has started two Girls teams at the Under 10 and Under 12 age groups.
It has taken a great deal of hard work to get where we are today and we hope the girls enjoy their football this season and in the future ones to come.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
