Season 2007-2008
02 Sep 2008

For the 2007/08 season the A team became the B team and vice versa. This helped the team but the biggest factor was the introduction of two new players that brought the goals and confidence the squad needed.
Playing in the Under 8 Division B, the team lost just 2 matches all season, drawing 2 and winning the remainder.
Good performances came in local tournaments, too. Two final defeats (including a penalty shootout) and a semi-final defeat showed how much progress was made over the year.

Season 2006-2007
02 Sep 2008

During this season the current B team was the A team and played in the U7's Division A.
Generally, the season was positive but the team struggled to score goals and this led to a number of frustrating defeats and draws when better results were possible. The first win was a long time in coming but despite the results no one was given an easy game and we left the pitch with our heads held high after some very good, battling performances.
Ultimately, the team only won only 1 match all season but they drew several and progress was visible for all to see.
To finish the season the team put in a couple of semi-final finishes at local tournaments to conclude on a high note.

New team formed
02 Sep 2008

The squad formed back in the Spring of 2006 when a group of boys and girls began training in sessions organised by Sprotbrough and Cusworth Crusaders.
Eventually, two squads formed to create the A team and the B team with the squads being divided equally rather than on merit. Greens and Whites was a better naming convention but league rules dictate A & B are to used.
After a few months training, the young players were ready for their first season of mini-soccer action.
